My favourite YouTube clips of all time

April 24, 2013 in Blog

On the 8th birthday of the King of home video, we celebrate one of the best inventions since the internet itself – YouTube.

1: Bjork wears 2 watches and explains how a tv works
Look at Bjork there, just being a legend – like the legend she is. She’s also wearing two watches.

2: Orange peel teeth
This gets me every time. I must have watched it about a hundred times with the sister and we couldn’t stop laughing.

3: Noel fielding is Kate Bush
One of the greatest things to ever come out of Comic Relief (other than all the good things they do for the community and the world in general).

4: Jenna marbles
Which Jenna Marbles video to feature was a close call. Her original video “How to trick people into thinking you’re good looking” is an all time classic, but this one is my personal favourite. I have literally done this. Every single sentence has passed through my mind when packing, even if it’s only for an overnight trip. Moral of the story: women are unhinged when it comes to packing.

5: Jimmy Fallon, Christina Aguilera & The Roots Sing “Your Body” (w/ Office Supplies as Instruments)
I really like how random it is. The Roots manage to recreate a pop song, and improve it using office supplies as instruments. Skill on that. Also Jimmy Fallon’s random dance made me laugh.

6: Sesame Street: Billy Joel And Marlee Matlin Sing Just The Way You Are
A wonderful song, and a wonder pre-amble.

7: Make It Count by Casey Neistat
This makes me want to do stuff, and buy a Nike Fuel band. I actually looked into it, but they don’t have an android app, so was not parted with my money.

8: A pep talk from Kid president
I love this kid. He’s so right – Space Jam is awesome.

9: I’m Elmo and I know it (LMFAO parody)
I never get tired of watching this. My favourite parody video of all time. “Kids look at my crayons”. Fantastic.

10: Art Attack – How to draw a cock
My inner 13 year old made me add this.
